There are numerous types of brow lifts. The classical or open browlift which involves a scar from ear to ear, is a good technique but less popular due to the lengthy scar and numbness over the scalp. Endoscopic brow lifts and short scar brow lifts I believe are preferable with very good results. The discussion in endoscopic or short scar brow lifts is with the method of fixation. Endotine is a good method and the most recent described. The other methods of screw fixation and suture fixation are similarly good but more finicky and not as easy to perform.
