Dr Caminer has been in private practice for eighteen years, since completing a fellowship in the USA and another fellowship in France. From 1995 to present Dr Caminer has been VMO of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at St Vincent's Hospital.

From 1999 until present Dr Caminer has been Chairman and CSU head of the Department of Plastic and Reconstructitive surgery at St Vincent's Hospital, Sydney. He was secretary of NSW Chapter or Plastic Surgery and Reconstructive Surgery from 2001 -2003...
