Rejuvenative anti-wrinkle treatment has become an exceptionally popular treatment for the improvement of dynamic lines over the upper face, mainly the wrinkles between the eyebrows, the forehead lines and the crow’s feet.

Occasionally I use it for the barcode lines of the upper lip and to prevent the marionette folds by injecting the depressor anguli oris muscles at the corner of the mouth. The injections are usually fairly painless and the injection takes affect over the first week, with the result at its maximum at about 10-12 days.

The effects of the anti-wrinkle injection will last between 4-6 months on the forehead and the area between the eyebrows; the effect on the crow’s feet is not as long, but this will still last for about 3 months. The results are natural, however as with all procedures, it is operator dependent and can be made to look very natural only with skilful application.

Anti-wrinkle injections can be combined with dermal fillers to give maximum results and I can advise you of this during the consultation. The side effects of the anti-wrinkle injection are exceptionally rare.
